I truly enjoyed reading this and thankful I am no longer needing an app. It’s tough out there and, yes, I used the apps too. The funny thing is that I met my fellow via a common friend who met him on Match! They became only friends and she introduced us. Turned out that he was going through the same frustration as I was and was looking for the same thing. So, in a roundabout way, we met via an app. :D
