Buying a Car

From Point A to B
Is all that’s really needed
No bells and whistles
But oh that shiny sparkle
Oh, that convertible top

What juices one up
Thinking about breezes warm
Feeling winds to touch my cheeks
Oh what fantasies
At a price beyond the sky

Time to put on brakes
Reality keeps me paced
Fasten seat belts to be safe
There’s a time and place
To make practical choices

And as life goes on
The last thing that we desire
Is to stress over
Decisions made too hasty
There’s a reason for limits

But doggone you sure looked sexy
You Air Force blue sparkly unicorn

I went on a car buying trip today with a good friend and this is dedicated to her. She did end up with a sexy red car. So, all ended well.
