Celebrate Black Poetry Day with dedication to Toni Morrison and Gwendolyn Brooks! 🎉

On this special day, October 17th, we are thrilled to celebrate Black Poetry Day** — a day dedicated to honoring the profound voices and contributions of Black poets throughout history. Sponsored by the Garden of Neuro Institute, we shine a light on two literary legends whose works have inspired and uplifted generations: Toni Morrison and Gwendolyn Brooks.

To kick off the celebration, we are excited to share a special YouTube video tribute highlighting the powerful poetry of these two icons. Morrison and Brooks have both used their words to illuminate the beauty, struggles, and resilience of Black life, and their poetry continues to resonate in profound ways.

Throughout the day, we’ll be celebrating even more Black poets whose works have shaped literature, culture, and activism. Stay tuned for more inspiring content as we honor their brilliance!

We invite you to join in the celebration! 🎊 Share your favorite poems by Toni Morrison, Gwendolyn Brooks, or any Black poet who has touched your heart. Let’s continue uplifting these powerful voices and keeping their legacy alive.
